The Problem: We live in a world where sexual content is normalized.

The normalization of sexual content can lead youth into greater risk for exploitation.  Youth that experience abuse, poverty and/or addiction are vulnerable to the lures of a trafficker and unhealthy relationships.

Pornography

The average age a child is exposed to pornography is 11 years old. Sexual violence and explicity is normalized.

Sexting

Sexts are sexually explicit photographs or messages via mobile phone. 1 in 7 youth sends sexts, while 1 in 4 receives sexts.

Abuse Prevalence

One in four girls and one in six boys will be sexually abused before they turn 18 years old.

Online Prevalence

84% of defendants on trial for sex trafficking used the internet. Youth spend an average of over 7 hours on their phones each day.

Our Solution: An educated student is a protected student.
