Fastest-Growing Criminal Enterprise Worldwide
According to the United Nations, human trafficking is the fastest-growing criminal enterprise worldwide, grossing approximately $150 billion dollars annually. Every day, people are getting rich off of selling other people.
So, what can we do to help stop human trafficking? Here are just two practical ways:
1) Prevention - Raising awareness of the issue and educating youth and adults on what trafficking looks like helps protect the vulnerable. Most people think trafficking is similar to the movie Taken, a guy grabs a girl in a drive by. But actually, 83.7% of reported trafficking happens over the internet—that’s right, social media, and other platforms where traffickers can start relationships online.
2) Fundraising - When a victim is rescued, they need a safe home to recover, they need counseling, food, shelter and more, they need people like you to raise money to help with the restoration process. Freedom 4/24 has 9 partner organizations that we support financially so they can focus less on the financials and more on the victims

Our newest initiative provides both prevention and fundraising—Adopt a Box for Freedom.
We need more voices in this fight, advocating for the voiceless and using resources to bring freedom to one life at a time.
What is Adopt A Box?
Adopt a Box for Freedom is a great and easy way to join arms with Freedom 4/24. Essentially, you will be given a board with numbered boxes that can be shared with friends, family, and those in your sphere of influence in order to not only raise funds, but raise awareness and educate others. This board is filled with statistics, stories of freedom, and information about the work of Freedom 4/24 and our partners that you can share with friends, family, coworkers, and anyone in your community.
How does it work?
To “adopt a box” your supporters will donate the monetary equivalent of the box they choose (i.e. Box 24=$24). Then, celebrate your donors as you get closer to your goal by marking off every donated box and encourage others to join you.
