Sal Ferlise
Chief Financial Officer
Sal was born and raised in Long Island, NY. He's been married to his wife, Toni, for more than 20 years. They attribute this blessing to placing God at the center of their relationship and their home. Sal and Toni relocated to Virginia over 17 years ago and having raised their daughter there, they now call Lynchburg their home.
Sal spent more than 20 years working in two primary areas: insurance claims management and operations management. He considers old fashion hard work, character, customer relations, and loyalty to be the main ingredients for a productive and rewarding career. Sal believes and applies a servant leadership style of management and loves taking part in building healthy teams.
Sal currently serves as the CFO and Director of Operations for two nonprofits: Sports Outreach Institute and Freedom 4/24. He considers serving in his current roles a blessing and his desire is that God will use whatever gifts and abilities he has to forward the organizations missions and prove a worthy servant to Jesus Christ. Sal also serves as Chairman of the Board of Big World Project, a ministry that exists to provide homes for the most needy children around the world.
