Rachael first came face-to-face with the issue of human trafficking when she first traveled to India with a women’s team in 2012. Broken by this injustice, but also inspired by the strength of survivors, she returned to India every year until she graduated high school. Upon graduation, Rachael moved to India for a six-month internship with a local non-profit. After her internship, Rachael returned home to Houston, TX where she hoped to continue the fight for freedom through her job at a church plant.
When her husband started pursuing his Masters at Liberty University, Rachael found she already had a connection in Lynchburg, VA. She discovered Freedom 4/24 through their partner Freedom Firm in India and knew she had to be a part of the work they were doing. Passionate about rallying others to fight for justice, she is ecstatic about playing even a small part in empowering others to use their voice, time, and resources to help bring freedom.
Outside of work, Rachael enjoys traveling, running, coffee dates with her husband, and playing board games with friends!
